A large area of deck, framed by a pergola, looks out over the reflective, still, black water of the canal. The eye is taken down the curved wooden path past architectural, jungle planting to a stainless steel water feature and a wooden cabin with a mature palm outside. Large tree ferns, Gunnera and Hosta leaves predominate in the shady side of the garden. The photo shows the garden when it has just been planted.
