The lines and squares of the front drive divide up the large space and give a sophisticated feel to the area. The strong lines of the oak pergolas draw the eye and are emphasised at night with directional lighting. The planting is loose and airy with grasses for winter structure and perennials for summer colour. Four columnar purple beeches mark the entrance to the drive.
